Fidan and several delegations leave hall as Herzog speaks in Baku

Several representatives, including Hakan Fidan, left the hall as Israeli President Herzog began his speech at the CICA Summit.

Representatives of several countries left the hall during Israeli President Isaac Herzog’s speech at the seventh CICA Summit in Azerbaijan’s capital, Baku. According to reports by Son Dakika and Anadolu Agency, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and the Turkish delegation were among those who walked out. Representatives of more than 10 countries reportedly rose from their seats as Herzog began his lunchtime address. The incident took place during a session of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia.
